Kingston is the gateway to the Toiyabe Crest Trail.  Groves Lake and  Kingston creek contain native brown and stocked rainbow trout.

Our Story

Originally established  as a rental property in 2017 as Kingston 376,  the new owners purchasing in 2025 plan to continue to provide accommodations to people visiting the area as well as upgrade to the property and buildings starting summer 2025.    


 

We have a fully furnished suite, including 2 cozy fold out couches for additional guests.  All amenities are included to provide for your cooking needs, including induction cook top and an outdoor grill. 

 

Do you have an RV?   We have 2 full hook-ups, pull through RV sites, with    30 and 50 amp service.  Have the toys but no RV?  Please send an email or text to the owners who can assist in finding a rental that can be parked at Bunker Hill Hideaway and ready for you to arrive.

What to Do

 Bring your hiking boots, off-road vehicles, fishing poles, mountain bikes, hunting gear or horses. Plentiful wildlife to be seen such as antelope, big horn sheep, a rogue emu or the townie mule deer that may be sleeping nearby. We also have an active church and an Antique shop/Museum, previously the General Store.   Whether you are looking for some adventure or a peaceful retreat, you will enjoy all that Kingston Nevada has to offer.   During your stay at our place you will have some the modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

What to Bring

You will be in a fairly remote area, be sure to bring food & drinks to get you through your stay.  The Lucky Spur sells ice, some drinks and snacks such as chips or jerky.  There is a small gas station with mini mart approx 15 minutes down the road- The Stage Stop.  They even have ICE CREAM!!! 

About Kingston

Kingston is a town first settled in 1864 to mine silver found at Bunker Hill.  There is  a volunteer fire department as well as approx  200 full times residents.  You will notice all of the streets aptly named  after regionally significant places.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         The speed limit within town limits and up into Kingston Canyon is 25MPH .   Please use caution.  As a rural desert community please adhere to all fire safety in place during your visit.
